Selerant GmbH news

Selerant GmbH is a company of the Selerant Group. It acts as the Selerant contact for the German-speaking coutries (DACH region) and also stands for the Prosisoft product line, in particular for the Hazardous Substances Management system HSM, integrated in Microsoft Dynamics, certified by Microsoft,  available for BC (Business Central in the cloud or on premise) and all NAV versions. Selerant GmbH itself is certified according to ISO 9001: 2015.

Since the end of 2021, our PCN module is in use for largely automated reporting to ECHA via S2S, managing UFI portfolios, monitoring formulations and reporting status.

NEW: For the HSM internal calculation module FCC the configuration package for dangerous goods classification of mixtures is available. It replaces the external program libraries for dangerous goods calculation and has a significantly extended configurability for the definition of user-specific defaults.

This year, a “real” EXTENSION EXPERTS finally took place again on 15.9.2022 at the Haus der Technik in Essen. We were there and had many interesting conversations. In general we noticed that our GSM BC is “ahead”. Especially since the code is completely in AL, we will be able to keep up with the future requirements of Microsoft.

HSM substance data updates

The currently available substance data delivery includes among other things the

  • Harmonized CLP classifications of the 17th ATP
  • ECHA Candidate List until June 2022
  • WGK (WHC, German Water Hazard Class) classifications after comparison with the UBA (German Federal Environment Agency) status 2022
  • Updated air limit values for various regions

Changes to the data existing at the user’s installation are logged on importing and compared with formulations, so that targeted recalculations for the ones containing modified basic substances can be launched.

HSM updates

HSM is always adapted to the needs of each customer. The HSM functional scope is essentially independent of the BC or NAV versions used.

For the new update, so many improvements and enhancements have accumulated that we will release a so-called major update to Version 2.0.0.0. This update is still in a thorough testing process. We will inform you about its availability.
